Examination of: What is policy development for safeguarding intangible cultural heritage? What are the needs of Latin America and the Caribbean in this field? How does the topic fit in UNESCO’s global capacity-building programme for the implementation of the 2003 Convention? 
The aim is to equip them with the knowledge and tools required to provide policy support and to take stock of the implementation of the capacity-building programme in the region since 2013.
