Yuh know in a review of my new book LiTTscapes - Landscapes of Fiction from Trinidad and Tobago I deliberately described the Laventille Hills in the singular tense as The Hills IS metaphor and meant exactly that, but a reviewer of the book - a vvey good review it was too generallty though, too liberties to 'correct' the grammar and in quoting it said The Hills are .... I still believe as I meant it the Hills IS ..... just as We IS Trini ....
